报告内容: Recent years have seen an explosion of research activities in a fascinating area called compressive sensing, compressed sensing, or compressive sampling. The area of compressive sensing takes its name from the premise that data acquisition and compression can be performed simultaneously. It has various applications in many fields. The basic model of compressive sensing is to find the sparest solution to a system of linear equations. In this talk, we give a brief introduction to the essentials of compressive sensing and describe some motivations and applications. We also give a brief introduction to its extensions: low rank matrix recovery and low rank tensor recovery. 报告人简介: Huang Zheng-Hai, professor at Department of Mathematics, TianjinUniversity. His research works mainly focus on optimization theory, algorithms and applications. So far, he has published over 80 research papers in the area of optimization theory and methods on international journals, including Mathematical Programming, IMA Journal of Numerical Analysis, Journal of Scientific Computing, Computational Optimization and Applications, Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications, Journal of Global Optimization, etc. He won the second prize of natural science award of the Ministry of Education in 2013.
