Digital intelligence technology to create business leaders
On June 3rd, 2023, MBA (EMBA) High-Quality Development Forum of Southeast University, which was organized by the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University was successfully held in Jiulong Lake Hotel of Southeast University. Jinshi, Vice President of Southeast University, Wang Ping, Director of the Secretariat Office of National MBA Education Steering Committee, Wang Shujuan, Director of China Management Case Sharing Center, Geng Xin, Executive Vice President of Graduate School of Southeast University, Kuang Yinghui, Director of Graduate Admission Office of Southeast University, and Li Dong, Member of National MBA Education Steering Committee, were present at the forum. Faculty leaders including Yuan Jianhong, Lv Hongjiang, Xue Weili, Liu Xiuyan, Ding Yi, and teachers and students of School of Economics and Management, totaling more than 100 people, participated in the forum. The main forum in the morning was hosted by Yuan Jianhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Economics and Management of Southeast University, and Xue Weili, Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management in turn.

Speech by Prof. Jinshi, Vice President of Southeast University
On behalf of the university, Vice President Jinshi firstly delivered a speech, in which he warmly welcomed the guests and teachers attending the forum, briefly introduced the history and current situation of Southeast University and Southeast University MBA (EMBA), and put forward his earnest expectations for the high-quality development of MBA (EMBA) education.
Firstly, we should treat moral education as a leader and insist on the principle of "students come first". The leading role of moral education in MBA (EMBA) education should be emphasized, so that to enhance students' experience, sense of belonging, happiness, and sense of gain. Secondly, we should optimize the cultivation system based on the national demands. In the face of the complex environment where challenges and opportunities are blended, MBA (EMBA) education should be oriented to the major demand for talents in the national economic development, and optimize the cultivation system relying on the advantages of engineering of the university and deepen the integration of industry and education, so as cultivating high-level managerial talents required for the construction of Chinese-style modernization. Thirdly, we should take brand building as a key to improve the quality of training. MBA (EMBA) education should be oriented to the future, adhere to the concept of "quality is the life of a brand", practice the school motto of "stopping at the best", create high-quality products with craftsmanship, improve the value of the brand, and effectively promote the quality of MBA (EMBA) training to a new level.
Speech by Wang Ping, Director of the Secretariat Office of National MBA Education Steering Committee
On behalf of the Secretariat Office of National MBA Education Steering Committee, Director Wang Ping expressed her heartfelt thanks to the leaders and teachers who have been supporting the development of national MBA education for a long time. Director Wang said that the cultivation goal of MBA (EMBA) education of Southeast University, which is "‘Digital, Intelligent, Scientific and Creative’ management talents with the gene of Southeast University", is highly in line with the realistic demand for complex and high-quality management talents in the era of digitization and informationization, which is very important for the future development of MBA (EMBA) education of Southeast University. Director Wang put forward many valuable suggestions on the development of MBA (EMBA) of Southeast University in the areas of characteristic leadership, enrollment and admission, faculty construction, management mechanism, international exchange, etc., and looked forward to accelerating the accreditation work of MBA (EMBA) of Southeast University to promote the sustainable development of MBA (EMBA) education of Southeast University. Speech by Prof. Geng Xin, Executive Vice President of Graduate School of Southeast University
Prof. Geng Xin, Executive Vice President of Graduate School of Southeast University, pointed out in his speech that this Forum on High-Quality Development of MBA (EMBA) of Southeast University not only has far-reaching significance for the development of MBA (EMBA), but also has inspiring guiding role for the professional degree education of the university. On behalf of the Graduate School, he put forward three suggestions for the high-quality development of MBA program. Firstly, MBA, as the earliest professional degree program started by the university, needs to firmly grasp the requirements of the times and adhere to the correct direction. Secondly, closely focus on the high-quality development of MBA (EMBA), strengthen the top-level design, optimize the internal governance mechanism, and improve the specific regulations. Thirdly, the high-quality development of MBA (EMBA) should break the traditional practice mode, open up new channels of government-enterprise-school alliance, give full play to alumni power and serve the local economy. He hoped that MBA (EMBA) of Southeast University would further concentrate on cultivation characteristics, improve teaching quality, promote brands upgrading, and create a better tomorrow for high-quality development.
Speech by Prof. Wang Shujuan, Director of China Management Case Sharing Center
On behalf of China Management Case Sharing Center, Prof. Wang Shujuan firstly expressed her warm congratulations to the successful convening of this forum and her heartfelt thanks to the teachers and students of Southeast University who participated in the case construction. Director Wang analyzed the work carried out by China Management Case Sharing Center and fully affirmed the achievements made by Southeast University in case teaching and research. Director Wang said that the case sharing center has successfully constructed an "ecological body" of cases, covering various disciplines of business administration, and this development process could not be separated from the strong support and outstanding contribution of Southeast University. She expected that more teachers from Southeast University would be involved in case development and case teaching.

Lv Hongjiang, Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management of Southeast University, made a systematic elaboration on the strategic conception of high-quality development of MBA (EMBA) education of Southeast University. She pointed out that MBA (EMBA) education is now entering the development stage of "focusing on differentiation and pursuing high quality", and in order to meet the needs of management innovation in the new era, MBA (EMBA) of Southeast University has put forward the characteristic development strategy of "cultivating management elites, business leaders and entrepreneurs with the genes of Southeast University and the characteristics of Digital Intelligence and Science and Technology Creation", and is committed to building a three-integrated cultivation model of "cross-cultural, cross-theory, and cross-practice" as well as a cultivation system based on the PDCA quality management cycle. Prof. Li Dong elaborated his profound understanding of the development of MBA (EMBA) education. He pointed out that from the historical perspective, MBA (EMBA) and the development of the whole society have a relationship of mutual promotion and interdependence; from the retrospective perspective, MBA (EMBA) needs to conform to the new era, fulfill the new mission, and utilize the knowledge of business administration to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements to realize the value-addedness; and from the future perspective, MBA (EMBA) needs to grow into an open platform for future technological and industrial development. Relying on the engineering advantages of Southeast University, MBA (EMBA) of Southeast University will truly realize the one-point promotion of MBA (EMBA) education with talent cultivation and scientific and technological innovation through the deep integration of cross-fields and cross-disciplines.

MBA Center of Southeast University has strengthened the system construction in teaching management, faculty construction, thesis management, case construction and continuous development, and introduced a series of management measures, with a view to promoting the optimization of the internal governance mechanism and providing institutional guarantee for the high-quality development of MBA (EMBA) of Southeast University.

Wang Xiaoqian of Beijing EEO Group Education Technology Company introduced the "MBA (EMBA) Blended Teaching Program" (CLASSIN Project), which is dedicated to building a new type of teaching space integrating digital technology for schools, opening up the whole process of management before, during and after class, and reorganizing the teaching objectives, contents, activities, evaluation and environment in the space integrating the physical and the network to realize the seamless integration of teaching in the physical space and the digital space, so as to make the blended teaching combining on-line and off-line carry out smoothly.
