The "Chasing Light and Creating, Aspiring Youth and Acting" 8th RRS Entrepreneurship Training Camp "B-Round Innovation" Was Successfully Held in Our School

On October 22, 2023, the "Chasing Light and Creating, Aspiring Youth and Acting" 8th RRS Entrepreneurship Training Camp "B-Round Innovation" National University Entrepreneurship and Innovation Project Roadshow, jointly organized by the China Society of Logistics and RRS Supply Chain, and co-organized by the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University, concluded successfully at the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University. A total of 43 entrepreneurial teams from 24 universities across the country, including Peking University, University of Science and Technology of China, Tianjin University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Southeast University, actively showcased the style of young entrepreneurs at the School of Economics and Management in Southeast University.



The Launching Ceremony


At the launching ceremony, Professor Zhao Lindu, Chief Professor of Southeast University, Vice President of the China Society of Logistics, and Deputy Director of the Teaching Steering Committee for Logistics Management and Engineering in Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, expressed a warm welcome to all the guests and entrepreneurs. He also extended his gratitude to the China Society of Logistics and RRS Supply Chain for giving this opportunity to the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University. Finally, Professor Zhao Lindu wished all the entrepreneurial teams "a successful presentation and outstanding achievements".


At the launching ceremony, He Dengcai, Vice President of the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing and Secretary General of the China Society of Logistics, expressed gratitude to Southeast University, the co-organizer of the "B Round Innovation," as well as to all the guests present. He also recognized the entrepreneurial spirit and hard work of the students and shared insights into the development trends of the logistics industry. When addressing the cultivation of innovative talents, he stated, "The RRS Entrepreneurship Training Camp is a great platform for cultivating entrepreneurial and innovative talents. Young Chinese students need to seize the opportunity and make unremitting efforts together to achieve the great goal of building a 'logistics powerhouse'."



Yu Zhenchao, General Manager of RRS Supply Chain, shared insights into the innovation of RRS's supply chain's scenario logistics model and the iterative development of supply chain management solutions at the launching ceremony. He stated, "RRS Supply Chain will continue to innovate its cooperation model and achieve the organic integration of the education chain, talent chain, innovation chain, industry chain, and supply chain." Finally, with great enthusiasm, Yu Zhenchao invited outstanding entrepreneurs from the training camp to join RRS Supply Chain and become future partners of RRS.



Finally, Tao Juzhong, General Manager of Brand Operations at RRS Supply Chain, provided specific details about the rules and procedures of the "B-Round Innovation" competition at the launching ceremony, expressing expectations for all participating entrepreneurial teams.



The Roadshow Competiton


In the roadshow competition, our team, named "Chengqun Jiedui," composed of undergraduate students from the 21st cohort of the Logistics Management Engineering Department under the guidance of Professor Li Sijie, participated in the roadshow of the Basic Operations Algorithm Group. They proposed innovative solutions based on AI algorithm intelligent decision-making for the entire operational process. Their solution demonstrated creativity and highlights, showcasing the students' in-depth thinking from multiple perspectives and comprehensive considerations. The judges unanimously praised their meticulous attention to detail throughout the presentation.


During the interactive session, the judges provided valuable suggestions for the implementation of the team's roadshow solution, and the students expressed that they had learned practical knowledge and application methods for real business scenarios through the competition, benefiting greatly from the experience.



The successful hosting of this event not only showcased the beauty of Southeast University's Jiulonghu campus in the golden autumn of October to guests and students from all over the country but also highlighted the values held by the School of Economics and Management at Southeast University, which are "serving the world, benefiting the people and balancing the management.”
