东南大学经管学院始终把学科建设和科学研究放在十分突出的位置上，以学科建设为龙头，带动人才培养和科学研究发展。经过多年努力，目前已成为横跨经济学、管理学、工学三大学科门类，学科结构比较合理齐整的经济管理学院，初步形成自己的学科特色和比较优势。在科学研究方面，学院强调要面向经济建设实践，着力解决国家、地区和企业在经济发展和经营管理中遇到的重大问题。学院所承担的一些研究项目，如北京第一机床厂CIMS工程、全国县（市）科技竞争力研究、全国城市竞争力比较研究、东部特大都市群与世界制造业基地研究、中国石化现代供应物流体系规划等在全国及同行中产生较大的影响。近年来，学院所承担的科研项目包括国家自然科学基金、国家社会科学基金项目、教育部人文社会科学重大攻关项目、国家软科学研究项目、江苏省社会科学重点项目等重要课题，取得了一大批学术水平高的研究成果，代表了学术研究的前沿和方向。
Scientific Research Programs
The School has been very active in scientific research activities and the momentum of doing such activities is encouraging. Some 200 academic papers and 10 works are published each year and some scores of scientific projects have been accomplished at national and provincial levels. The scientific funds obtained each year are increasing rapidly on a fast track. The research achievements of many important projects have provided many ministries of China, the provincial government departments and large group companies with strong supportive evidence in decision making, and thus fulfill ourselves in actualizing the goal of promoting economic development with high talents.
