The ongoing international financial crisis, which started in the United States in September, 2008 has brought grave challenges to global economy. The crisis has profound causes and could have complex and diversified financial and economic effects on world economy at different time horizons. Amidst a global financial crisis which was rarely seen in history, it is of great significance to bring together experts and scholars of different countries to explore ways to promote world economic growth and discuss the role that China plays in maintaining international financial stability. Under these circumstances, this international conference seeks to undertake a comprehensive review and analysis on the current financial crisis and hear wisdom from scholars all over the world to tide over the crisis. Thus the conference carries with the title: “China and World Economy in Post Crisis Era”. Selected distinguished scholars and government officials, from China, France, Australia, North America and elsewhere, will be invited to deliver keynote addresses to the conference. A business lunch has also been planned to particularly cater for the business community to update their knowledge on the Chinese economy and market.
