报告内容摘要
报告内容:
The study aims to explore the effects of the circular economy practice on performance of manufacturing operations. The circular economy models transform the products and their life cycle to create circular and self-sustaining production systems. However, questions remain in the effects of circular economy practices on firms’ productivity. This paper empirically investigates such effects using large database of manufacturing firms with case in Asia (Indonesia). The findings show that the circular economy is not only a sustainable business model, but also enhances productivity. Furthermore, firms that implement circular economy practices have certain unique traits in their supply chain operations, which not only make them different and more resilient compared to other firms in general, but also inform supply chain strategies that facilitate efficient circular economy practice. The findings enhance understanding of relationships between successful circular economy implementation and supply chain strategies.
