Dr. Qiu Bin is the Distinguished Professor in Southeast University. He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Institute of World Economy and Politics in the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and as visiting professors in Columbia University in the City of New York and the University of Maryland, College Park in the US. and James Cook University and the University of Western Australia in Australia. He is an executive member of the Council of China Society of World Economy and Deputy Secretary General of China Society of American Economy. He used to be the Director of the Office of Social Sciences and the Dean of College of International Studies in Southeast University. He was selected into the Initiative of Excellent Talents in University for New Century by Ministry of Education of China (MOE) in 2009. Prof. Qiu Bin’s research focuses on international trade, international investment and world economy. He has managed 2 national key projects and more than 10 others funded by the MOE and Jiangsu Province. He has published over 60 papers in high-level research journals both at home and abroad and 7 books in renowned Chinese publishing houses. He won the Jiangsu Social Science Outstanding Achievements Award 5 times. He is now the Chief Expert in the Research Center for Global Economic Integration in Jiangsu which is a key research institute of social sciences named by the Department of Education, Jiangsu Province. | ||
