Usage-based   insurance (UBI) adjusts premium based on the dynamic risk evaluation of an   individual policyholder, incentivizing policyholders to maintain good driving   behavior in pursuit of lower insurance premium. Although post-trip   interventions can significantly improve driving behavior, most interventions   do not provide risk mitigation strategies tailored to long-term driving   behavior. In this talk, we propose a new approach for driving risk prevention   in UBI service, providing risk analysis service and tailored driving   suggestions for policyholders. Advanced prediction models and model   interpretation methods are adopted to assess and analyze personal driving   risk, respectively. The Multi-objective counterfactuals model is developed to   generate risk mitigation strategies for policyholders. The case study, based   on a real dataset from an insurance company in China, shows that the proposed   approach can be directly embedded in the existing UBI service framework to   provide personalized feedback and services for policyholders.

雒兴刚,教授、博士生导师,教育部新世纪优秀人才,现任杭州电子科技大学特聘教授(二级教授),中国管理科学与工程学会常务理事、中国优选法统筹法与经济数学研究会工业工程分会副理事长、中国管理科学与工程学会工业工程分会秘书长、中国系统工程学会理事。2006年于东北大学系统工程专业获得工学博士学位。2006-2007年在加拿大University   of Calgary机械制造工程系任Research Associate2008-2014年以来先后多次在香港理工大学工业与工程系任Research Fellow。发表和录用论文100余篇,包括80余篇国际期刊(SCI)论文。授权国家发明专利15项。作为项目负责人承担国家自然科学基金重点项目1项、国家自然科学基金面上项目3项、国家自然科学基金委创新研究群体子项目2项、省部级项目6项、海外合作项目1项、企业合作课题3项。获省级学术成果奖一等奖2项。
