About speaker:
Xia Yang is a Ph.D. in Ecological Economics from the University of East Anglia, UK. She is currently the senior academic editor of Nature magazine. From 2017 to 2020, she was the senior academic editor of Nature Communications. As the only social science editor for both journals, she is responsible for reviewing manuscripts related to socioeconomics, environmental policy, health risks, climate change, and sustainable development. Xia Yang has spent ten years in the UK. She is committed to the multidisciplinary research on natural disasters, health risks, and socioeconomic impacts. She has published many high-impact SCI papers.
