On the afternoon of August 15th, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation between the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University and the Nanjing Branch of Sinopec Group Shared Services Co., Ltd. and the listing ceremony of the key production-university-research base for smart finance and accounting of Southeast University were successfully held. Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Southeast University Huang Dawei, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Nanjing Branch Wu Yuling, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University Yuan Jianhong, Director of the Department of Finance and Accounting Chen Zhibin, the principals of Nanjing Branch Party Committee Organization Department, Service Management Department and Financial Business Service, and relevant teachers of Southeast University attended the ceremony.
At the meeting, Professor Chen Zhibin introduced the cooperation situation and prospects of the two parties, including the signing of an internship training base for undergraduates and a key production-university-research base, and the construction of a graduate workstation in Jiangsu Province and the employment of industrial professors and off-campus tutors in Jiangsu Province, which will be jointly established in the future. A data analysis laboratory will be built in the future, and they’ll cooperate to apply for the Ministry of Finance-related digital transformation projects, as well as carrying out cross-complex financial personnel training programs, etc.
Vice President Huang Dawei pointed out that digital transformation is imperative, hoping that Southeast University and Sharing Nanjing Branch will start from the cooperation of smart finance and accounting, continue to expand and deepen cooperation from point to point, and jointly explore the cultivation direction of the compound and applied talents. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude to enterprises for providing practical platforms and opportunities for win-win cooperation. Each round of educational ideological discussions in colleges and universities is a summary of talent training and the positioning of future directions. He hoped that enterprises, as employers, can actively participate in the discussions and continue to improve the path of talent training, cultivate high-end talents that meet the needs of the industry, and achieve a win-win situation.
Secretary Yuan Jianhong introduced the achievements of teaching and talent training in the School of Economics and Management in education and emphasized that this strategic cooperation with Sinopec Group Shared Services Co., Ltd. will further promote the all-round digital transformation of the school's teaching and scientific research and improve the talent training program. She pointed out that the digital economy requires breakthroughs in core technologies, and shared services are the most suitable for digital transformation. On the one hand, it is necessary to do more cross-integration in teaching and to cooperate with enterprises to carry out teaching practice projects, which can play a better guiding role in students' future employment, as well as be conducive to talent training and talent output. On the other hand, enterprises can provide specific problem scenarios and put forward business requirements, and schools can provide methods and algorithms to solve problems. Starting with financial sharing, then expanding to human resources, logistics, engineering management, and many other aspects, schools and enterprises work together to promote digital transformation and create more project opportunities for scientific research.
General Manager Wu Yuling is very grateful for the cooperation opportunities provided by Southeast University.
